GMA Resources interim CEO Ken Crichton

London, England --- MININGREVIEW.COM --- 03 March 2010 - GMA Resources Plc ‒ a London-based mining and exploration company focused on gold in Algeria ‒ has announced that Ken Crichton has been appointed to act as the company’s interim CEO.

In a statement issued here the company confirmed that Crichton ‒ recently appointed to the board as a non-executive director ‒ would remain in this temporary position until a suitable candidate had been found to fill the role via an international executive search process.

The statement revealed that Doug Perkins, by mutual agreement, had decided to stand down as CEO and resign as a director of the company with immediate effect.

GMA Resources has entered into a consultancy agreement with Perkins so that he will remain available to provide general advice and assistance in connection with the company's operations.
